About the EOC

It is important to remember our history and recognize the work of the Holy Spirit in guiding us towards Orthodoxy. This site therefore maintains an archive of information and historical documents of the Evangelical Orthodox Church (EOC). We do not speak for the EOC. Although we were members of the EOC, we no longer have any connection to it, official or otherwise.

Where Are They Now? - A listing of the EOC churches related to us. Where appropriate, we list their names and status in the OCA.

A Long Road - Former EOC priest Doug Trent describes the July 2002 reception of Holy Trinity EOC into the OCA. Originally published in AGAIN magazine.

Our Journey - Article from October 2001 summarizing the history of an EOC church and describing the mood of the church as it transitioned into the Orthodox Church in America.

EOC Brochure - Describes the beliefs and practices of the EOC. This acted as the official statement of belief for the EOC at the time of our membership (prior to 2002).
