For the circumcision

Troparion, Tone I
Enthroned on high in glory with your eternal Father and your divine Spirit, * you deigned to take that purest maiden for your mother here below. * And in accord with the law, O Christ, our God, * you endured the circumcision when you were eight days old. * Glory to your gracious designs, O Christ. * Glory to your plan of redemption. * Glory to your condescension, * O only lover of mankind.

Kondakion, Tone III
Now clearly seen is he whose nature hides him from our sight, * for the uncreated word assumes the form of one created. * To show us an example of obedience, * he was circumcised in accord with the law when he was eight days from his mother's womb. * Let us worship him as our redeemer, * the only Lord and saviour of our souls.

For Basil

Troparion, Tone I
Throughout the world your teaching spread, * setting forth the doctrines of faith. * You expound for us the nature of the world around us, * ennobling the ethics and morals of men. * O holy Basil, gracious father and royal priest, * beg Christ, our God, to save our souls.

Kondakion, Tone III
As one of those unshakable foundation stones of the church of Christ, * you bestowed on us all a legacy that cannot be taken from us, * and you seal the bequest with your teaching, O Basil, holy father.

For the new year

Troparion, Tone II
O designer and creator of all that is, * in your power you arranged the seasons and the times. * So now, bless this year we begin through your goodness, * give all your people lasting peace, * and by prayers of the Theotokos, save us.

Kondakion, Tone II
Enthroned on high, O Christ, our God, * you are the designer and creator of all things, * whether visible or hidden from our sight, * of day and night, * of the seasons and the times, * Bless this year we now begin, * and preserve your people from all evil, O most merciful Lord.

For the holy apostles

Troparion, Tone II
O you holy apostles, * entreat our merciful God to grant our souls the remission of sins.

For Nicholas

Troparion, Tone IV
O Nicholas, holy hierarch, * your flock has recognized you by the brilliance of your works. * You are a model of kindness and rule of faith, * a teacher of self-control. * Your lowliness has raised you to the heights of fame, * and your poverty has filled your hands with riches. * Beg Christ, our God, to save our souls.

For the holy apostles and Nicholas

Kondakion, Tone VI
Christ, the rock, made his chosen twelve foundation stones of faith, * and on them he established his holy church * wherein there appeared that wonderworking hierarch who cared for the poor. * Let us celebrate their memory with songs of praise * that we may also share in their wisdom and largess of heart * as, by grace, we share in their faith. * For the sake of Nicholas and your apostles, Christ, our God, save our souls.

Theotokion, Tone IV
Raised in the temple of the Lord near the holy of holies, * you were schooled in faith and wisdom, and robed in virginity beyond compare. * To you Gabriel came with this message from on high: * Hail to you, most blessed one, O favorite of God, * the Lord is with you.

Blessed is the kingdom of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit both now and forever and unto ages of ages. Amen.
